Back at Garnfrwdd today the lake fished very well over the wekend still plenty of fish showing took ten rainbows today from various spots arround the lake . Most productive fly once again the apps bloodworm in red or yellow and a few on red crystal eggs all fished under the bung approx 30 inches deep .
Out fishing Thursday the 9th January , Fishing with my good friend and new comer to fly fishing roy . It was a fine but blustery day most of the fish came from the peat island all fish taken on apps bloodworm fished 30 inches under a bung 8 rainbows for myself buggest 4lb and 2 rainbows for Roy great day when the fishing was hard .
Back there today Saturday the 11th January again with Roy and our gilly for the day Morgan , the lake was full up with people approx 30 fishing was very hard no room to move managed to get on the big pontoon where i managed 8 rainbows to 4lb and 2 for Roy all on apps bloodworms under the bung . The preassure on the fishery was unreal and i feel we did very well to catch what we did on a day that was hard for everyone .
